Description: Join us for a Project WET experience exploring how land-based events and climate change are impacting the San Francisco Bay watershed from Sierra Crest to San Francisco Bay.
In this workshop, we will weave together NGSS and language learning priorities (CC) via proven strategies. Participants will also receive:
- Award winning resources from Project WET, TISC, and California Coastal Commission
- Field experience at TISC’s marvelous waterfront facility and tools for leading your own high quality outdoor learning experiences. Prepare to get dirty as we get outside for NGSS learning.
- Tools for Implementing Key Science & Engineering Practices (SEPs): Constructing Evidence-Based Explanations, Argumentation & Conceptual Modeling.
Light Breakfast and lunch will be provided and activities will be indoor and outdoors!
